Go Green – Mangrove Plantation

Through our annual Go Green initiative, Hutchison Ports Pakistan is restoring the country’s coastal ecosystem with largescale mangrove plantation. Each year, thousands of saplings are planted to enhance biodiversity, strengthen coastal resilience, and capture carbon — directly contributing to Climate Action (SDG 13), Life Below Water (SDG 14), and Life on Land (SDG 15).

Dock School – Education for All

Our Dock School provides underprivileged children from Karachi’s port community with access to quality education, modern facilities, and holistic development. By opening doors to brighter futures, we are advancing Quality Education (SDG 4), reducing Inequalities (SDG 10), and nurturing future talent for Decent Work & Economic Growth (SDG 8).

August 2025 Dock School – Science Lab Renovation

As part of our Dock School initiative, Hutchison Ports Pakistan has renovated the science laboratory at a primary school in Lyari, Karachi. The outdated facility was transformed into a modern, well-equipped space that allows students to engage in hands-on experiments and strengthen their curiosity for science.

With this milestone, we reaffirm our dedication to nurturing knowledge, innovation, and brighter futures for the next generation.

March 2025 Dock School – Classrooms Upgradation

In continuation of our Dock School initiative, Hutchison Ports Pakistan has successfully completed the second phase of upgrades at a primary school in Lyari, Karachi. This phase included the renovation of classrooms, installation of new furniture, and the creation of three colorful wall murals, transforming the school into a more engaging and inspiring learning environment.

Through these efforts, we remain dedicated to supporting education and providing young learners with opportunities to grow and thrive.

December 2024 Dock School – Computer Lab Establishment

In line with our Dock School initiative, Hutchison Ports Pakistan has established a fully equipped computer lab at a primary school in Lyari, Karachi. This upgrade provides students with access to digital learning tools, enabling them to build essential skills and prepare for a technology-driven future.

Through this effort, we continue our commitment to creating opportunities that empower young learners and broaden their horizons.
