Connecting Infrastructure

Designed for scale and efficiency, our terminal offers deep-water capacity, extensive quay length, and a vast container yard. With the region’s largest examination facility, 1,500 reefer plugs, and our own powerhouse, we ensure reliability, flexibility, and uninterrupted operations.

Infra 3

Deep Draft

At Hutchison Ports Pakistan, our permissible draft of 16 meters enables us to handle mega vessels of up to 24,000 TEUs or 400 meters LOA — carrying more cargo while reducing logistics costs.

Turning Basin

Our large turning basin of 720m improves efficiency, reduce congestion, and enhance safety as it provides more space for vessels to manoeuvre and reduces the risk of collisions.

Infra 5

Quay Length

We have quay length of 1500 meters which enhance our ability to accommodate larger vessels, increased cargo handling capacity and greater flexibility for vessel traffic management with safety features.

Yard Capacity

Our yard spans 85 hectares, purposefully designed to accommodate up to 3.1 million TEUs annually. Supported by advanced yard planning systems and optimized space utilization, it ensures efficient cargo handling, smooth vessel turnaround, and reliable trade flow

Infra 8

Railway Link

An off-dock railway facility is now available for cleared cargo. Currently over 200 weekly export / import containers are being handled via this railway. Containers are trucked from Hutchison Ports Pakistan to the East Wharf link for smooth rail connections.

We have comprehensive coverage to and from all major upcountry destinations with competitive rates.

Dedicated Road Access

Hutchison Ports Pakistan is constructing a dedicated access road. This road will further enhance access to the terminal.

It is a four-lane dual carriage way (18.2 m wide) that has been specifically designed to enhance the flow of traffic entering and exiting the terminal.
